INCF Neuroinformatics Assembly 2023
Online
Hey there! We've got some exciting news to share with you. The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) Neuroinformatics Assembly 2023 is happening from September 18 to September 20, 2023. And guess what? We're part of it!
This year's assembly, with the theme "Transparency in FAIR Neuroinformatics", is all about workshops proposed by the awesome INCF community. And guess who's organizing a workshop? That's right, it's the Brain Simulation Section! Our workshop session is titled "Infrastructure for Sensitive Data". Get ready for some mind-blowing stuff!
The INCF Neuroinformatics Assembly is a fantastic event where neuroscience standards developers, infrastructure providers, and software developers come together to mingle with the research community. It's the perfect opportunity to share the latest advancements in the field and geek out with fellow neuro enthusiasts.
About INCF
INCF is an international non-profit organization that's all about pushing the boundaries of neuroinformatics. They're on a mission to promote open, FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data management practices in neuroscience. It's all about making sure our research is accessible, reproducible, and ready to change the world!
You can learn more about the INCF and their incredible work on their official website at: https://www.incf.org. Give it a visit and prepare to be amazed!
Agenda
The workshop offers participants both lecture and hands-on training session for using the new EBRAINS privacy-compliant and scalable services for brain research to store, share and analyze complex multi-modal FAIR sensitive neuroscience data originating from human subjects: Health Data Cloud (HDC).
The event takes place on Tuesday, September 19: 14:30-22:00 CEST.
The event is addressed to professionals working at the intersection of neuroscience and data science, including researchers, IT personnel, and bioinformaticians.
